He's raw but clearly has lots of ability, just needs time to warm into games sometimes. Definitely should have started more games and hopefully he will do next season. I like to think he's been used so sparingly because it's Ancelotti's way of trying to motivate him to cut out the off the pitch stuff. Hopefully the penny's dropped and he really wants to knuckle down.

I thought he took his goal well, it was a "simple" goal, but we don't score many of those, the ones where players should square it for a tap in are often smashed straight at the keeper or into the side netting

He also created 3 chances, two for Richarlison and Walcott.

It might be that off pitch incidents have limited his starts rather than ability. If he’s finally knuckling down then there’s definitely a player in there.

Our best player yesterday. Looks to carry the ball forward and get a shot away. Made some good runs but didn’t get played in. Could also have had 2 assists, with better finishing from Richy and Walcott.

With better players behind him, think he’d bury a few chances.

I thought he did very well, with the potential to get better.
Hopefully , this will give him the kick up the bottom to really get going for next season.

Really he has had little opportunity but talk me trough his 2 yard tap in - joking apart anyone upfront for us with that midfield will struggle oh & the bottom 4 teams took 4 points of us - we need a midfield which is as fast as our forwards.. - end of -
