Honest assessment of the Don Carlo reign so far

Given that we are all really disappointed with the season .Again.
Since he came when we were in the bottom three and finished 12th,knowing the players for what they are ,what do you think ?
Please refrain from vendettas on players keep it to just Carlo ,no Brands hate as that is not the question.

Realistically I am slightly disappointed.
However the real judgement will be in three years time.
I don’t expect us to break out of the mid table positions next season , but a gradual improvement in the quality of football and some indication of a cohesive strategy would be nice.

He’s never had a job like this before, or a team this bad before. My worry is this is going to be another top manager like Benitez, or Pellegrini not being able to do much with a average team. Time will

Looks like he is going to insist that the players rise to his tactics not lower the tactics to match the ability of the players. Hopefully he has seen enough to convince him that they are just not good enough ...

That is a very loaded question and doesn’t take into consideration what he has had to work with.

When he has some signings of his own in, then is the time for these threads.

There is enough doom and gloom about us right now, let’s not try whip up some hysteria about our only hope to get us out of it right now.
