If it's true he has come out and said he prefers a move to Spurs then we should move on immediately. Can you just imagine the motivation if he has to come here because his first choice hasn't come off.
Very similar thing happened with Nuno Valente I recall . He said he preferred a move to Blythe Spartans as he felt was more his level but we ended up signing him. Funny thing was they were 28 divisions lower than us at the time.
