Toulouse’s relegation means Sangare is definitely off. Brilliant at winning the ball and good at moving it forward which is exactly what we're looking for in midfield - probably cost around 15 mil. Kone's also worth looking at from them, 19 year old midfielder, would probably be very cheap too.

Was gutted when Stones left but in two minds about potentially getting him back. Has gotten himself a reputation of being a liability, which is probably fair. But as some posters have said, I think Ancelotti could be the one to sort him out and get the basics right. I'm sure he wouldn't be first on the list but if its him or Tobido and there's not a great deal of difference in fee (which is probably quite unlikely), then its got to be Stones for me.

Massively disagree. We bit their hands off for £50m so why would we buy him back for that much when he hasn’t improved a great deal since then?
The competition for ball-playing CB's is extremely small in Everton's recent history.
And by extremely small I mean almost non-existent.
...I was a big John Stones fan but for me he hasn’t truly progressed at City which makes me doubt his attitude. We need players who still think a game of football for Everton matters and I’m not sure Stones would die for our cause. Add to that his injury record and those are two key boxes I couldn’t tick.

Are we still paying Silva or was his contract up around now? Just like we're finally getting rid of the crap Martinez and Koeman saddled us with, it'll be nice to have all our previous managers paid off, another chain removed
