Dont underestimate the ability of this group to flatter in order to later deceive. Look at the run we went on in the last third of last season.

They'll end up infecting any new player coming in too.

IMO, the only way past this would be to have a firesale and then allow Ancelotti to sign 7 / 8 players; players with tough, winning personalities. That's highly unlikely though. We'll be looking at the core of this lot again next season, and Ancelotti will need to assess what his options are. That, sadly, is where I see us headed. The damage was done before CA got here, and I think it's broken the club.

Yesterday was disappointing, but they players don't seem to drop their heads as much as under Silva, and earlier results show us winning even when we play poorly.
There has been a marked improvement imo

I tend to like these but that was a bit meh.

It's Delph who typically will become the third CB and it's usually as the LCB, allowing us to have much more balance. This video seems to suggest we do the Martinez tactic of playing wide CBs when our GK has the ball with a midfielder becoming the central CB. I've not seen that too often.

kenny was lucky to be regarded as average on the many times he was given a go at Everton. One season in Germany and all of a sudden he’s a world beater. Chances are he’s still one dimensional and slow.
