....perhaps flattered by the score, Palace failed to make the most of promising situations and you can see why they struggle to score goals. Our quality in the top third the difference, with a player capable of scoring from nothing.

Mina and Schneiderlin for mentions in dispatches, but Richarlison is simply terrific. He might not be fancy like Zaha but he’s so much more an effective footballer. Richarlison our best.

In all fairness, isn't that like 12 games in a row he's lost as the visiting mgr at Goodison? Jog on you owl-faced dino.
I will never forget the mersey derby, not just because it was one of the last we won lol, but because he reckoned it was one of there best performances of the season before they got rid of him

7th, five points off 4th.
Just 2 months ago we were in the relegation zone, next 4 games are colossal, if we keep current form and win a few we could end up in a battle for 4th.. in a season that was written off before Christmas that's unreal. Arsenal were in a similar position to us and changed manage at the same time, if they did what we have there'd be loads of talk about them crashing the top 4..

He's significantly better than Zaha, wouldn't trade them in a million years. Mad to think the money palace supposedly wanted for Zaha in the summer, and people don't think richarlison is worth £80m?

Not a perfect performance and Walcott injured but the result all that matters with the break coming up. A positive ending to our 'half-term' report and sights firmly set on winning the battle for 5th, with even half an eye on catching Chelsea in 4th if they falter.

Some big games coming up after the break but results will bring confidence and we'll have no fear.

Got the victory which all that counts but can see players who have accepted challenge by Ancelloti and those who are just not able to compete where we are going ;-(

Sneids is definitely making more of an effort; cross-field pass that found the man, broke into the box and even had a shot from the edge of the box. Still has got a lot more to do but there's an improvement.

Coleman kept Saha quiet for most of the game - so well done.

Richie, another very good performance.

Another game where Carlo's influence can be seen in the result - onwards and upwards

...different planet.

Zaha is the epitome of a complicated and fancy footballer lots of people like because he’s got a trick or two. I’m not a fan of complicated, fancy footballers. Richarlison is the epitome of an uncomplicated and effective footballer who gets the job done. I’m a big fan of uncomplicated, effective footballers.
