2019/20 Carlo Ancelotti

A year on from the Millwall debacle and this year we aren't even playing due to an even more embarrassing early cup exit.

When are things ever going to get better for us? We have nothing to look forward to every single season.

Hoping having Ancelotti here can fix things but I feel as though we're broken beyond repair right now.

When we have a good team.

Carlo has a long time to go before the fans turn on him and call for his head. On the other hand he might end up with a statue in recognition of his achievements.

The fans should never turn on Carlo Ancelotti. The fact we're talking about it shows how mad football can be these days. We will have no relegation fears under him, at all, we will always be top 8 or 9 after a dozen games into the season. We will have ups and downs until the end of the season but by the beginning of next season he will have some of his own players in and have made a decent amount of changes to the first 11 and squad. He has a lot of work to do and fans criticising Brands, even the CEO, the owner, Kenwright and random staff online all the time like Jeffers, Ferguson, Unsworth is not helpful.

That requires someone in charge of transfer who can create a winning squad. Brands isn’t up to the job.

It takes longer than 18 months to turn one of the worst squads in the league into a winning squad. We need every single Koeman/Walsh player gone permanently before we can even think about having any sort of success.

Terrible player, so far hes only bought 1 stinker and even he could come good under Carlo.
Your hero worship status of him is beyond strange.

Iwobi, Delph, Sidibe and Lossl have all been average to poor signings and have definitely not improved the squad. It’s obviously too early to judge him on Gbamin. Richarlison is the only real success and he was 100% a Marco Silva signing.

Agreed but I don’t think Brands has been successful in the market. After £200m spent under his tenure we should be seeing some progress but the only ones really showing it are players brought in from years ago in DCL and Holgate.

Richarlison is our best player but he was definitely a Silva signing.

Delph hasnt been average, hes played reasonably well, but people have agendas, Sidney has been very good and Lossl hasnt even played.

But you are entitled to your very wrong opinion.

Delph reasonably well? He’s been average at best. A terrible signing and on a big wage. For an experienced player he has directly been involved in decision making that has cost us points in the last two games.

Sidibe is a very limited player and one that we should be steering well clear of.

But carry on worshipping Brands. Let’s see where it gets us.

2 of the best managers in world football have constantly picked Delph in their sides, but sure, you keep claiming hes rubbish.

Sidney is a very good attacking tool.

I will keep worshipping Brands till I feel as tho hes doing a bad job.

Rico, Digne, Gomes, Kean, Sidney, Bernie, Delph have all proven my faith, but you keep clinging on to failure. Lets see where that gets you.

Brands will be under massive pressure this summer imo - if he doesn't get it right and we spend around the £80-120 million mark again they'll be calls for him to go as Ancelotti wont be attacked by the majority of the fanbase.

He's already been heckled to not be part of the board at the AGM.

Heckled.

Iwobi is home-grown and having one of the most skilful attacking midfielders in that category for a number of years is a good move, the fee was surprising but he is 23 at the end of the day. Delph (also home-grown) will end up being a bench player as back-up for LB and other positions and because he replied to someone being rude to him on his Instagram some sections are now hoping to force him out of the club. People trolling real human being footballers online as if they have committed a crime by Everton not winning a match and saying stuff like 'you have to earn the right to play for Everton' is embarrassing. People don't like the fact that Pickford had fun at the darts either. He better not smile as that makes him unlikeable.

Tom Davies had the absolute nerve to drink a cup of tea after we lost a game too. The monster
