No that's normal goalkeeping I believe. The experts on here say it's the correct technique to try saving shots by diving 2 feet behind the line. It's just sheer bad luck when it doesn't come off.

Nah, I still maintain he was good in his first season. The World Cup absolutely burnt his head out for some reason, since then he's been an absolute clown. It's come to a head this season though, where he isn't even redeeming himself with the odd good performance, just costing us over and over again. It's got to the stage like it did with Howard where people are going over the top to praise every single save as top drawer because it's so rare he even makes one.

I understand wanting £40-60m but other clubs have him sussed.
It's an issue of personality and judgement. If it was technique it would have been coached out of him by now.
A more junior club might take a punt but tops £20m

It's a specialist position (as in his position is at a premium), he's currently England's No.1, if and its a big if, he has a good euro's in today's market you'd easily be looking at £40 mill minimum for his services.

When he joined I honestly thought he was going to be the best Everton keeper since Nev.

He needs to email Joel Robles on how to keep a clean sheet and that's not setting the bar high -two keepers far better than him in the prem at the moment Pope and Ben foster look at their all round game they command the box , and we could sign Pope far cheaper than we signed Pickford whos side were relegated the reason he looked good was he had plenty of saves to make = that's all he is a shot stopper = he does not command his box on a corner free kick etc that's why we let so many in from set pieces .....

If we could punt Keane back to Burnley as part of a deal for Pope that would be outstanding business.
