Well thats up to Carlo.

Digne hasnt been at his best this season, by a long shot, but he showed his class last season.

Might be prudent to give the boy a rest tho.

8th Feb Palace then 24th Feb Arsenal

The players can recharge during those 2 weeks...lets hope they are revitalised in the same way they were last season.

It’s exactly about working miracles. He is still fairly productive even in his ‘off’ season. But because he isn’t firing in lasers from 30 yards (and hasn’t had nearly as many free kicks on the edge of the box) he isn’t a top player anymore.

Walcott hits that ball in and it’s 5 assists. Played a perfect corner to Holgate which resulted in a goal. He has been fine. People just remember the worldies he scored last year and bank all of their opinions on the lack of them this season.

He hasn’t had nearly as many opportunities this year because we haven’t looked nearly as dangerous a side. For all our faults last year, we pressed well and constantly created chances using our width. Teams can just mark us out now that our center is so poo.
You're American right? Not being funny here, but most of us fans here don't judge full backs on how many free kicks they score, that's an American thing. We're judging him on his all round performances, which have been sub par all season. Defensively he's been absolutely shambolic at times.

If you know your history though ...

"There has often been a debate about why this happened, some blame it being a midweek game, others talk about it being a protest against how the club were treating Bill Shankly and others claim that the fans were intimidated by the hooligans of West Ham United."

That Shankley shout reeks of revisionist history.
