for you @carlos21
Swerve Salisu, can’t have him coming in, being good, cementing a place in the team then swanning off to the ACON for 6 weeks or so just when the season is getting to the nitty gritty!

Love how ppl start to stress at the point.. chill out.. what happens happens
Exactly, it not like we have a say in what happens so just go with the flow. One game at the pit aside the last couple of months have been pretty good with this bunch of players so hopefully we can keep up the momentum.

There isn't really a panic there was at the end of November. Holgate has taken his chance and I think he is likely first choice at the moment?

Midfield is our problem, although Gbamin is back in training. But he's missed half the season and will take time.

Yeah, and Ancelotti will give him a chance so may not be in such a rush to get someone in as he may be the perfect player for us.

Yep with AFCON being played again in January need to factor that in when looking at any players that may be involved.

Football is all rigged to make sure the elite teams stay at the top.

Bigger teams get larger cuts of champions league revenue regardless of their performance.

Drop out of the champions league and you get put in the Europa League. Being rewarded for failure and making a mockery of the whole idea of the Europa League, which was to give teams, just under elite level a shot at winning a trophy.

FFP just stops smaller teams having rich billionaires pump money in to them to compete with established teams like Blackburn did decades ago.

UEFA just want the elite teams to dominate. They have the most fans and bring the largest returns when their teams do well.

The elite teams threatened to form a breakaway league when UEFA didn't do what they want.

Fans of all other teams should have been protesting when UEFA brought in the rules to let teams drop in to the Europa League when they fail in the Champions League.

Wouldn't suprise me if and when Usmanov tries injecting money in to the club through naming rights or a sponsorship deal that we get made an example of, while they let Man City get away with it.

All about money unfortunately.

The issue with city is that they can literally just bankrupt any governing bodies that try to force any kind of sanctions upon them. By just dragging it through the courts for a decade or more if they need to and the likes of the fa, UEFA and fifa know this.

Who’s Marco Ancelotti? Is that Carlo’s brother? Is he in the know?

Emre Can linked in Italian media.
Juventus desperate to get rid. I believe they only bought him because he was free and knew they could flog him to some desperate prem team and make a profit.

I never rated him and nothing to do witt him being an ex red. Just never understood the hype. Big strong presence in midfield. But was slow and offered nothing on the ball.
