If Silva, Allardyce or Koeman had done this the fans would be up in arms but because it’s Dunc and it’s seen as “being tough” and not actually just poor man management. Literally less than 5 minutes left in the match and embarrasses the lad when he could’ve waited and bollocked him in the dressing room like any other man manager would do to a young lad lacking confidence.

Mate , he’s taken over the team in the bottom 3 with half a season gone and coming into a run of 6 fixtures , during the Xmas period that nobody else would want. He has galvanised the squad, fans and has even got the media on his side and managed to get 4 points in his two games. He has done this by instilling a one for all attitude and by showing passion and commitment and working harder than the opponents. He has the players working that hard that 3 of them got strains and he had them working so hard that they made more tackles last week than any other prem team in a decade. Even with that point and the 3 last we are two point from the drop. If kean is not fit enough or can’t be arsed to press for 20 minutes then that is unprofessional or unacceptable depending on the reason. We cannot expect 110% from 99% of the squad ( kean being the 1%) it effects the whole attitude that Dunc is installing. Dunc was screaming at him to get back and cover and kean wasn’t interested or was to tired ... this is why he was hooked

What has made it worse is he blanked him, then claimed it was purely a tactical decision and later said it was because he wasn't up to the speed of the match.

....will those that blamed Silva now blame Ferguson?

Be interesting if “The lad should get a run of games” shouts continue or if those that think that have changed their minds.

Tbf Ferguson actually played him in a big game away from home on tv ... he just didn’t like what he was getting . If you can’t be arsed working for your team when you have a new manager, havnt been playing minutes , are at a new club and league , away from home and 1-1 at old Trafford with 20 minutes left ... then when are you going to be motivated

Haven't seen it, but could Big Dunc have been so focused on the team on the pitch without realising "blanking him"? As for what he said later to reporters, who cares really?

He was hooked for not pulling his weight mate or because he is t for enough to play 20 minutes of football while being paid millions of pounds a year. Both scenarios are bad , he said it was tactical because he’s not going to come out and say that his player can’t run for 20 minutes or that his player ignores instructions or that his player can’t be arsed to work for the team is he?

I also forgot to mention he took over after a 5-2 thrashing from our biggest rivals that was broadcast live throughout the country. The mood has swung completely and 3 days after the derby... feeling that low , lost and ashamed... we were on cloud 9 with the whole stadium loving football again, the media even seem to love Dunc ...
Too late mate. I locked it...
