Maybe relegation would be a blessing, City and Leicester are both good examples
Are you mad?! We'd be stuck down there forever! There's no way we'd bounce back from relegation, losing is far to ingrained into this club these days. We'd fall like a stone.

I'm sure Leeds fans convinced themselves back in 2004 that a year in the championship would do them good, get them winning again and they'd be back in a year. Well they've been down for sixteen years at this point and they spent some of that in league one. There's no spinning this. Relegation would be a catastrophe for this club, one that would take decades to recover from.

@Nymzee was this how it was when you supported Leeds?

Is it possible the board are gathering to discuss the replacement rather than the sacking of the manager which has already been decided imo.
The players may now know who their next boss will be already but the club will want that to hit the media from official sources.
