It is how we perform in the premier league that will define Silva's future, not playing a championship reserve team in the league cup. Need decent and consistent performances against City and Burnley and not the cowardly cack served up in the previous 6 premier league games.

I am not going to hold my breath but will be delighted if we perform well in both of them.

Just glad we are through and now need another easy game, stay in the cup, although I wouldnt be surprised if we go deep in the comp, it's a different manager picking the side in the later rounds
