Seemed to spend large amounts of his time babysitting Mina and dragging him away from confrontations.

It's wasn't his best game but he showed a few glimpses last night as to why he'd make a good captain.

He isn't at the level Baines was for us. That's a very high ceiling but it's the standard he should be reaching for. Players like Digne have got to get better. For too long now, players have just stalled their development at our club.
