Why cant people understand football is a short term game

And that glimmer of hope if finally taking that step is again shattered. And next season will be no different because top players will leave.

Have a very good season last year whilst playing for an absolute dross side managed by Roy Hodgson.

Zaha is boss, he's pretty much perfectly built from the Premier League. It's staggering to me that people think he's average.

In what universe do a group of professional accountants at a top-flight football club sanction the release of a sum of money for a player we're 'ready to sign' only to then discover that said money doesn't actually exist?? unless you've completely botched that sentence somehow and you meant something else...

It's amazing how angry people get at imaginary scenarios that only exist in their head.

We were the 6th best team in the league last season(according to the recently released ESPN luck metric, showing the league leading amount of penalties and red cards wrongly against us last season), and we have improved.

How much would we get for Richarlison if he decided to leave next season? It would go towards the build in progress. It is the way footy works. I am surprised you expect us to walk into the top 6 when the top 6 have strengthened as much as us. We are not the only team in the league to have strengthened.

Ive been supporting Everton for many season's and have been lucky enough to see Ratcliffe hold the trophy high.

You can not simply waste money on what is not right. Ask Leeds.

Its about building the right team. Not just buying some one because we can. I say fair play to Everton for not just slashing the cash because we can and well done for looking at the situation for the next few years.
