Disappointed we couldn’t get Zaha in, but think was out of our hands to a large degree.

Honestly though, Brands has dropped the ball badly not getting a centre half in. We’re so exposed there. Can’t understand why we couldn’t pick someone up.

Other than that (pretty bad) omission, a decent window.

Of course we have to remember that other leagues are still open for business.
September 2nd needs to pass

Not a fan of these staggered windows. PL not doing themselves any favours

Disgusting amount
Mate you're on an absolute roll today - you've just posted an article about a number of players who turned out alright for us which flies in the face of the point you're attempting to make lol

These staggered windows are much better, saves 3 weeks of getting hopes up. At least it’s all done and dusted and can just enjoy the actual football now.

Some people on this need to get a grip. Our first team is stronger, and our squad is stronger at the end of this window. No Zaha is a big disappointmentment, As is no CB. But, overall we’ve signed Gomes, Sidibe, Gbamin, Iwobi and Kean (one of the hottest prospects in world football) plus it looks likely we’ll bring in Brazil’s current golden boy in January - it’s hardly been a bad window has it?

Arsenal valued zaha at £40m, we valued him at £60m, palace at £80m. Arsenal value Zaha equal to their valuation of Iwobi, we believe Arsenal undervalued Zaha, but are not willing to meet the valuation given by palace, as it is extortionate. We are however, willing to pay the extortionate value for Iwobi, who Arsenal believe is Zaha's equal. I feel like there is a whole load of people getting it wrong at Everton and Arsenal in the boardroom and Palace may well be the best judge of talent
Because we have tried to appease the Everton fan bed wetters - unfortunate but maybe worth the extra 5 to 10m.
