It's a hugely positive sign that the loan players want to return. Granted, they want playing time, but it also means they believe in the project and that the environment is positive.

The only downside is that it may make it hard to get further loan players from the big fish.

Logical thing for his career is to come back to us. He knows he'll get regular game time and progress on the pitch thus keeping him in his national side. I'am sure he's wise to the fact Chelsea only want to keep him because of the transfer ban, otherwise the deal would have been already done and dusted.

Think it’s pretty obvious that he’ll have to force the issue, then we’ll have to cough up a huge fee, I think this will happen as he clearly feels at home and his form/partnership with Keane was impressive for all to see.

Lampard can’t guarantee 30-35 games this season like we can otherwise luiz rudiger and Christenson are all up in arms ,can deffo see big kurt returning home

Smart play, he wants lampard to come out and say he wants assurances he will be starting as centre back. Hudson odoi pulled something similar.

Right on que with the neg spin
Not really just reality.

He knows he will get game time at Chelsea given rudiger is the only player on his level out of the ones they have luiz is old and a liability and Christensen is average. He won't give up cl football and a top 4 run, to come here where we have no European football.

The 2 year transfer ban gives him essentially 2 seasons to make that place his.

They had no problem shipping him out before the transfer ban and they'll have no problems when it finishes.

Of course what you say is a possibility but this mornings report can only be seen as positive and when you look at other stuff like the removal of all the Chelsea branding from his social media accounts and yesterday wishing Digne happy birthday, he could have just posted that message but chose to reply to Evertons message, he’s been generally very quiet up until yesterday as well, only a small thing but added to today’s report kind of hints that something is in motion, doesn’t it?
