I've been through the statements, too, Goat. Many many times.

Well I havent, not totally and I would be lying if I even understand it all.

Esk is normally spot on with the money tho to be fair.

And my matchbox maths also have us a bit skint, the same thing I said last summer before we spent about 80m.

What do you think wages are for these players? None of which we would miss imo, I know some of these wages will be made up by loaning clubs but if these guestimates are remotely accurate it is actually mind boggling;

Jimmy mac 60k
Niasse 60k
Mo besic 40k
Schneids 100k
Sandro 100k
Bolasie 80k
Mirallas 80k
Cenk 70k
Cuco 40k

That's 32.7 million a year in wages and I think I've lowballed a lot of those wages. Its staggering. Just getting the bulk of those players shipped out, even without a fee for most, will put us in a good position financially. The above have contributed little to nothing over the past 2 seasons if not more so wont be missed. I dont think we should be keeping schneids on massive wages based on a few good performances at the end of the season.

Yeah, I think it is really really wise, to trust the opinions of someone who has historically been wrong on almost everything he has said, over the financial acumen of a accountant billionaire, who is the accountant for the one of the richest men in the world.

Makes total sense. You all are really really super smart.

That's absolutely kin vile. To be honest, might be an unpopular decision, but I'd say McCarthy is by far the worst of that lad, going off his hard on for playing for Ireland while not fit and subsequently getting himself out for months longer. Kin divvy the fella. Should be frozen out and told he's not getting a game for the main team or the 23s and it's time to finally do one.

....good morning Folks, here’s the Toffee transfer rumours for Monday 8th July;

- According to the Liverpool Echo, Marco Silva is ‘very hopeful’ of signing defender Kurt Zouma from Chelsea as ‘one of five more additions to the squad’.

- SportsMole report Everton are interested in Manchester City’s 29 year old midfielder, Fabian Delph, who could be available for £15m.

- Tuttosport say Torino are considering slapping a huge valuation on 27 year old defender Armando Izzo to ward off interest from Everton and Arsenal.

- TNT Sports have provided an update on the saga of Santiago Sosa’s transfer to Everton, suggesting the Toffees have hired a ‘specialist’ to try and get the young Argentinian a work permit, but the chances look very small at this point in time: ‘Sosa has been rejected by the Premier League, and does not have a way to play for Everton’.

- According to Kicker, RB Leipzig are ready to renew their interest in Everton’s 21 year old winger, Ademola Lookman, who impressed during a loan spell with the club.

- Sky Deutschland report Atletico Madrid and Manchester United have registered their interest with the representatives of Ajax winger David Neres. The 22 year old Brazilian is said to be an Everton target.

- The Liverpool Echo are suggesting 31 year old winger, Kevin Mirallas could leave Everton this summer and join a former club (thought to be Standard Liege). The Echo also say the Toffees are willing to let Kieran Dowell leave on another loan deal, with Wigan Athletic and Huddersfield Town showing interest.

- The Daily Mail continue to link Everton and Swansea want 19 year old Chelsea full-back, Reece James.

Reece James posted a back training vid on insta yesterday, his injury was a badly strained ankle ligament rather than a blown achilles that was feared at the time.
