Saw an article this morning that Raiola want Kean to quit Juventus and quit Italy. If that’s true, there’s usually only one outcome and Raiola more often than not gets his way.

With 12 months left on his contract, Juve might not have much choice but to negotiate his sale.

Could be a goer if we’re genuinely interested.

You also have to factor in that he’ll be told he could potentially triple his current salary, which you’d think would be modest right now as a 19 year old youth prospect.

...plus10% of the transfer fee.

Who said anything about a “top young striker”? You don’t have to be a top young striker to be better than Dominic Solanke, who people seem to have decided is actually the prototype £20m player now.

My point was that people are expecting that if we spend £20m on Kean that he is the finished player, gonna come in and score 30 goals a season, because they think £20m is a massive amount of money for a Premier league striker, which it's not. £20m is a gamble

Even the players that score 10 goals a season are valued at more than £20m

Reality check, what did we sell Lukaku for? £75m, plus add ons, they talk about £100m plus for Harry Kane. We paid £27m for Cenk Tosun.

£20m is not classed as a lot of money for a striker anymore, it hasn't been for about 6 years

You seem to be answering a completely different question.

All I’m asking is ‘how many goals a season would you expect from a £20m striker?’

Would be INCREDIBLY surprised if there’s truth to these Kean rumours he’s one of Europe’s brightest prospects isn’t he?

Correct. If we sold DCL you’d expect the club would demand 20 million minimum, and his goals record as we know is poor despite his other obvious qualities.

You’re not going to buy a striker for 20-30 million that will guarantee you 15-20 goals these days. Any striker brought in will be a punt and a bit of a gamble.

...Brands always says no player should be deemed out of our reach. Also, he might be a top prospect, but the top teams usually have top strikers already. Not sure they would invest heavily in a prospect and not sure if a prospect would be keen going somewhere to sit on the bench.

Might be all bluster, but sometimes these things just fall right. Everton can always point to Lukaku as an example of career progression.

Its impossible to answer. A bog standard PL striker would cost that much. DCL cost £1m, and you never know, might net 10 to 15 next season.

Kane cost Spurs £0.00. Neymar cost PSG heavens only knows. Henri cost Arsenal £500,000.
