He has done fine so far, but where is the goalscorer?

He did bring in Brazil’s newest number 9 last season who slotted 14 goals from open play for us. Not a bad start considering our signings upfront since Lukaku joined have been Leandro Rodriguez, Niasse, DCL, Bolasie, Enner Valencia Rooney Sandro Tosun Walcott.

So yeah against all that Richarlison isn’t a bad answer to the question ‘where is the goalscorer’

...the Moise Kean rumours won’t go away, this morning Juventus insisting he’s not for sale but later reports suggesting they will sell as long as there’s a buy back clause. Plenty of links to Borja Iglesias of Espanyol.

Mate Silva was Evertons manager in all but name the day he left watford, you are actually thinking that was a brands signing really mate.

Brands was before Silva and presumably in talks long before the appointment of Silva was discussed. He could have vetoed the deal as well if he didn’t want it. He can’t get the blame for poor signings but not credit for good ones.

In the round our squad is absolutely unrecognisable from what it was 12 months ago. Yes he’s spent money but as Koeman, Walsh, Woodward, Comolli etc. have shown you can spend it badly.

For the first time in our premier league existence we are recruiting well and have the cash to back it up. Good times ahead.

Hes already sold Besic once, that deal broke down cos of greedy Agents, but no, he shouldnt have any problem at all in shifting him this Summer, ive seen nothing to suggest Holgate is even for sale, but again he would be a VERY easy transfer.

...the problem with players in the last year of their contracts is whether they are looking to go on a Bosman. There might well be offers for Besic, just as their might be for Niasse but they might not be prepared to leave unless it’s on loan.

It’s a great time to be a footballer, even an ordinary one.

Brought in Andre Gomes for much lower than people anticipated. Very good.

Sold Nicola Vlasic for a small profit. Good but hold the parade because he was after all one of if not our most sellable for sale player.

Marcel has done a good job so far but let's see what else he can pull off in this window. I'll be more impressed with sales than I am buys.
