Fernandnho is 34.

I'd have him in a heartbeat.

They can easily afford to have these players run down their contracts.

PSG are signing Ander Herrera so I'm wondering if the Gana move is off.

How did you come to that conclusion out of interest.

Seriously though we will sign 2 new midfielders if that happens maybe 3. Until we sign them it’s just guess work if we will be better or not, I’m hopeful with Brands in charge, it will be for the better

Gana going would be a huge blow but at forty million you can't turn it down for a 29year old. Would prefer he goes to PSG mind. Could you see us going for Docoure or one of the French lads we've been linked with if he does go.

They only want him gone because he no longer qualifies as a U23.

He had his best spell of form after the disappointment of not getting his big PSG move. He was bombing forward more and actually starting attacks.

It will be hard to get a like replacement for him. He normally shows up all over the place pressing opposing players causing stress. I will miss him if he does leave. Very good player.

I would hope Brands is excited about creating a much better midfield than Gana/Gomes.
