Ha ha spuds getting ripped as per once a big game comes around, if there was a cup competition for bottlers Spurs would be in the final ever year.

Good for them. But the point you initially made was it’s all Kenwright’s fault that we don’t get to experience those nights, but actually no other English team does other than them.
Chelsea have won it
Man Utd have won it
Arsenal have been in a final
City have been in a semi final
Leicester have recently been to a quarter final

Don’t compare us to those teams, what’s the point? They’re all massively bigger clubs than us and City have an infinite wealth behind them. Leicester won a freak league title which got them there, they sunk right back down to our level immediately.

Why are they bigger? That has to be the question.

Had we of got Kings Dock over the line in 2003, which Kenwright should have stepped aside to let happen, we would’ve been a completely different club. For once, we would’ve been ahead of the curve.

Everton have been a huge club, it is mismanagement that has led to us being in this situation.

Football is cyclical, we don’t have to forever be stuck in mediocrity. We need to start making the changes to ensure that we have give ourselves the best chance possible.

Moving the likes of Kenwright and Woods on will be a very good start.

This I agree with completely. I just think it was a bit daft to suggest Kenwright was the reason we aren’t competing with Liverpool in elite European competitions.

Liverpool’s success continues to highlight our failure.

We don’t have nights like they’ve had tonight because we have people like Bill Kenwright involved with the club.

Their pedigree has always far eclipsed ours, before, during and probably after Kenwright.

Forget champions league semi-finals and big European nights for a second, I'd just settle for wining a derby every now and felling like we might at least have a chance to win a cup competition. Sadly though we wont because there's absolutely no belief in this club that we'd ever be capable of doing so. We have created an environment were cowardice and failure is the norm and is not only accepted but is simpley shrugged off. And one of the biggest reasons for this environment comes from our chairman who embodies mediocrity and the acceptance of it.
