We have 53 points ( 4 more than last years total) up to now.
7th was never going to guarantee europe and the reason we arent 7th is Wolves have had an unexpectedly good season like Burnley did too.
In a transition year I expected pretty much this sort of league placing but expected us to do something in the cups.
However there' a clear cohesion there now and a solid base to build on.
A few quality signings and I think we should be challenging top 4 next season.

Shame we've missed 7th and highlights the fact we've not been good enough for large parts of the season, but I'm very optimistic for next season. If we get zouma and Gomes, a young right back and a new striker, I'll be very happy.

Wolves? Please. Baines trips, we blow coverage on a set piece, and they get a lucky deflection. They had 4 shots on goal including the PK. We had the ball the whole game, out chanced them, out shot them, etc. They had like 1 corner. They created nothing, we just gave them the game.
