Hopefully not, this and the dixie statue should remain where they are, where they actually made history, would be stupid of us to discard pieces of our heritage.

New statues could easily be commissioned for BMD.

It's hard to tell how good/bad this will be with all that bubblewrap on it, but I tend to think a more orthodox statue would have been better. The United Trinity one being a case in point.

So they just couldn't organise it to have the three of them running back to the half way line (hey, can you work out which direction that is from St Lukes, Everton..?) - maybe they are going to triangulate them later (at Bramley Moore?) so they are "together".. who knows? Maybe we should let them know how we feel!
