If he publicly joined, then next transfer window we would get rinsed by all and sundry, far better to keep things on the low-down until the window closes then make any announcement official.

If other clubs think that the purse strings are closed then players may be purchased for their true value rather than an Usmanov tax being added to it.

Hopefully Brands is hawking the deadwood around and a nice list of targets is being worked on ready to sign on the dotted line come next window.

The Esk doesn’t know as much as he thinks
Let’s not forget the first summer window under Moshiri and the Esk telling us who we were getting.

Regarding Usmanov, he may never come, but only a handful of people will really know. The Esk said he would never invest. USM finch farm.
He said he would never sell to Kronke and Kronke would never sell to him. So his track record isn’t great

The ESK dosent know anything, he might undestand how finances work and write good interesting articles, but most of his posts about what is going on inside Everton are just to get twitter followers.
As for Bill, for years everyone wanted him to sell and he did and people still cry and moan, would you rather he kept all his shares and Moshiri wasnt here?
