Seamus Coleman

There might have been variables at play, they might have wanted to assess and take time to decide on the exact treatment pathway.
I've actually had a similar injury, tib and fib - clean break, took me about a year to get back and I had great care as I was playing for the forces at the time.
They couldn't operate on me for days because I had a fever, then an infection then a pulmonary embolism.
All because some fat Scottish goalie threw himself on one of my sexy pins.

Exactly - very serious tricky surgery under full anaesthetic surely.

All vitals must be checked carefully or you could have a patient arresting on the table.

I am pleasantly surprised if initial surgery has already been performed tbh.
