NFL 2025 Season

What happened to the Ravens
Lamar isn’t healthy enough to bail them out of their problems and that’s been legitimately the entire strategy for the team since he became the starter. The front office has never seen it, the coaches have never seen it, and it’s only now that he’s been closer to average than a supernova force on offense that it’s finally showing how limited everything else they’ve been doing is. That’s the main thing.

The second thing is the defensive coaching has been horrible since the let Macdonald walk out the door without thinking twice about who the actual difference maker on staff was. Similar to Lamar, Kyle Hamilton has been able to rescue them in a way that isn’t sustainable.

But the main reason that everyone needs to get fired is the Likely fumble, which is the same stupid lack of ball security around the goalline thing that has cost them games going back as far as 2016! I’m serious, CJ Mosley fumbled diving a return at the pylon in a loss to the Redskins and here we are a decade on still doing that same dumb thing. It’s time for a change.

A tad suspicious to say the least

The Refs were throwing flags before plays even started then figuring out what they could call it for.

The OPi told us what was happening. The last DPI on McDuffy should have convinced anyone who doubted it.

The holding calls, etc. etc. I am not sure I have heard the announcers question more calls than they agreed with.

Then the non-calls on Dallas and all their holding.

The way the Chiefs benefited from dodgy officiating over recent seasons -- mostly in the form of penalties levied on the opponents for the slightest of touches on its star players -- is vaguely reminiscent of another team that plays in red and white with touch of yellow. That team, too, is 6-6 having seen its luck, especially late in games, do a complete 180. And the fans of both teams are, quite frankly, insufferable at the best of times.

I appreciate the Chiefs for basically ending the argument that there is skill in winning close games this season.
