He wouldn’t have been a rat if we’d signed him from Hull, we’d have made far him too nice. The other lot seem to make some players that way, not necessarily a bad thing. No contradiction. He's a rat, but if he was our rat that'd be fine. He's a winner who I wanted playing for us when he was at Hull.![]()
Usually clubs that can bring in a promising talent at a lower fee to develop or just to take a gamble on, already have a competent or semi decent option in place , as in case with Thiago at Brentford where they had Wissa when they bought him and in the case of Bournemouth they have Evanilson so they could take a risk on a 19 year old from the 2nd division of the French league like Kroupi jrMaybe so.
Am more than happy to give Barry a season to settle in.
That's why another experienced forward would have been Ideal.Usually clubs that can bring in a promising talent at a lower fee to develop or just to take a gamble on, already have a competent or semi decent option in place , as in case with Thiago at Brentford where they had Wissa when they bought him and in the case of Bournemouth they have Evanilson so they could take a risk on a 19 year old from the 2nd division of the French league like Kroupi jr
I think Everton's original plan was similar to what I referred to , unfortunately Beto has been so underwhelming it heaped ample on pressure for Barry to deliver immediately, which was unlikely as he seems like a player who needs time to adapt. I too thought he had a strong game on Sat just needs to start more games and for us to be more coherent in our attack, which I thought transpired due to Garner playing as right backThat's why another experienced forward would have been Ideal.
I would have allowed Barry a little bit more breathing space to develop.
That being said there were definite signs from Barry on Saturday.
I think a goal will do him the world of good.
City must be kicking themselves after having signed that Haaland lad. No Premier League experience...
Nah. Not a position of importance, remember?Every single game it becomes more obvious that not signing a RB was criminal.

Forest with their plethora of fast wingers aren't signing someone who runs like he's wearing clogs.Sell McNeil to Dyche and use the money to get Richy back.

Counter points. Please stop with the Richarlison comments. It’s spurs. They’d be wanting 50m back. He’s injury prone and getting on.
Swear some people are so sentimental they’d take anyone back.
Dont think anyone is spending £80 to 90 mil for anyone playing for Midget Land.Franculino would cost two or three times what beto cost unfortunately
