2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

His contribution to that win was decisive.

Cooly slotting the penalty is one thing - and not to be underestimated. How often we have seen our players balloon critical pens. But that dribble and cross at the end was a thing of beauty. I hope that counts as an assist for him - his numbers are low. But that was his goal in many ways.
If the keeper guesses right that's an awful penalty.

Dyche had tried him in the middle and he had a bit of a stinker last season too. I think he's better with space to run at people, lot easier out wide.

….yep, I mentioned the same in the last few days.

My hope at the start was that he’d link really well with Grealish but that didn’t happen, KDH very much on the same wavelength. Anyway, Alcaraz was terrific when he came on, looking better equipped for that position. Ndiaye goes out wide and dinks that wonderful cross up for Beto to miss.

Square pegs in square holes.

He failed to get on the ball and dictate. It's not his game unfortunately.

He was awful and Dibling couldn't get on the ball, why didn't Moyes or the players switch positions ? If it's not working tweak it. We were lucky they didn't score more if I'm honest, but we improved more the more the game went on, Alcaraz was immense, he changed the game. We deserved the win in the end. A word on the atmosphere, flat in the first half, incredible in the second. Crowds feed on players, on chances and on a terrible referee, we became a bear pit in the second half and I thought Palace wilted and lost their 20 game run.
