New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Obviously the club had to put the wall in for safety reasons but you can see how it affects the stand. I'm guessing the upper part, which is huge, barely stand up during the game?

I've just read that the lower part is 5,000 and the upper is 9,000. Going forward I see that as being the biggest problem in terms of making that stand do what the Street End used to for us.

I sit in the Upper South and so far the atmosphere's been brilliant

Like I said it's not the clubs issue. Not sure they care if seat unique are not selling seats they have already paid Everton FC for.
It's like saying it's an Everton FC issue if a season ticket holders decides to not turn up and leave their seat empty....

But it is a club issue if they're claiming week after week that there's a sell out - that makes them look daft and supporters who cant get a ticket are going to be pretty pissed off too.

Also, the optics look terrible for a club with a new stadium if sections of seats in the view of cameras are empty.

It's a problem that needs sorting.

Got the opposite problem (not really a problem I suppose! 😂) to what a lot are reporting on the Through Pass stand....I don't seem to have been charged at all for Saturday. Scanned in, grabbed a pint, walked out. Did it at Roma and got charged the right amount, but not even the £20 initial fee has come off this time!

Was in the North Stand Upper (above the away section) on Saturday. The moment the South Stand started to sing/chant was really impressive imo. A wall of noise rolling through the stadium. It was seriously. Can only imagine what it would've been like if we scored.

Not a problem in my mind. The place is sold out for tickets Everton FC have for sale - they don't have control over the seat unique seats. If supporters want to put their hands in their pockets for the more expensive premium tickets then they have that option. No different from any other modern club.
Seat Unique have already demonstrated between the opening game and the villa game that they have got better at shifting the seats they have control of. Was always going to take them some.time.to understand actual demand at various pricing points for each game. Of course they have margins to protect so are never going to give them away if there is limited demand.
I guess you are correct in it not looking great having an empty batch of seats. Maybe Everton can try and influence seat unique to allocate seats a bit more randomly so it doesn't look as obvious when there are some premium seats unsold.

Good luck to you mate. They get enough out of you anyway.

You see, they can address the issue.

The best way of addressing it is to not hand them tickets for the East Stand especially. That's where the issue is being picked up on by tv.

I'd also tell Seat Unique to tell their customers that they are a guest at Everton's BMD stadium and if they dont take their seats by HT then those seats can be taken by any other match day spectators. Get a system in place whereby supporters from South Stand or North Stand can upgrade to it for the second half for an extra fee. People do that when there on a train already so why cant the club at the stadium?

been in south lower twice, loved it

was disappointed the pre match songs werent as loud as for Brighton but I guess that was a big occasion

each game has felt like a cup final. the stadium is awe inspiring

i do want to see the stadium and match from other angles but i need to be standing at football. there’s no other way to watch it imo

just wish the standing section was larger, what was the capacity of lower gwladys?

I'll assume this is some sort of wham and take the discussion no further.

Why?

The technology exists to do in-game ticketing. If the club are looking bad and there's a way of solving it then it should be taken up.

Person A sitting in South Stand / North Stand sees on a club app the availability to upgrade in a different stand on his deck (upper or lower) pays the extra fee; takes up seat. Done.

Not rocket science is it?

All they need to do is tell seat unique if they haven't sold them 24/48 hours before KO then the club is

The gaps for Brighton was for an allocation that had sod all to do with SeatUnique. They didn't have an allocation there, and besides, had completely sold out. Same was true in the cup game etc.

The delay for people returning to their seats have sod all to do with SeatUnique either, they've not got that level of allocation. It's what happens at every stadium in the real premium hospitality bits.
