Ticket Poll for Aston Villa

Looks like attending matches is a thing of the past.

At this stage it's probably best to stop spending anything on the club to recoup the money wasted on memberships. Better off staying at Goodison.

I’m 2 for 2 in the ballot, single ticket requested each time. Which is great but I’d rather have this hit rate on £200m euromillions

There’s lots of numbers bandied around about numbers in the ballot and seats available, but I don’t see the backup data.

It might be worth, among active participants on this site, to start trying to build a picture of the hit/miss ratio. I suspect if you assemble a crew of 2 or 4 and try in the ballot all tied together you are more likely to fail. But I have no evidence. Maybe it needs a poll per game with multiple options:

Tickets requested 1-2-3-4
Success yes/no
Flexible location offered yes/no

That would be 16 permutations. It would only work or be statistically useful if there are 00s on this forum who are applying. One for the mods maybe. or maybe just I shut up now

I was unsuccessful for Brighton but managed to get hold of x2 on resale on the Monday after.

No luck again today (which I was suspecting) but did get a couple to the Mansfield game so that’s eased my frustration a little.

Got to be a better way that this farce.

It’s a good idea given the TOTAL lack of any kind of clarity or transparency from the club around this process.

Would take some managing though to keep on top of!

“The ticket application ballot for [Event Name] is now complete”

Can’t even send the rejection email without mistakes… Just reeks of amateurism.

Quite remarkable really we've gone from trying to flog half season tickets and the Derby going to general sale to such demand, despite a much bigger ground.

I wonder how many general admission seats we had at goodison compared to BMD, and whether the extra capacity has just been taken up by the bourgeois

Just received the dreaded unsuccessful ballot email.

Absolutely kin [Poor language removed] 0/2. Was already in a foul mood from Monday and this doesn’t help.

To the resale I go tomorrow to, somehow, try and get two seats together. Pfft.
Just had an email to say I'm unsuccessful....again..
Just got the email. Unsuccessful again, 0/2 ffs. This is rotten
Unsuccessful as well. 0/2. I didn’t have this issue getting tickets at Goodison. Joke.
Unsuccessful again… What a surprise.
0/2 here as well 🙁 There has to be a better way. There just HAS to be.

Trying to drive people in to seat unique and sports breaks options.
There'll be half-empty blocks and unsuccessful ballot fans for games.
