Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I’m beginning to think apart from a few loans we might not make any more permanent signings this window. The new owners are beginning to look like a bunch of amateurs, with their incompetent hiring and lack of preparation for the new season. This could only happen to Everton. 😢
If the loans were useful players in positions we needed, would you consider that incompetent?

Yes because it kicks the can down the road until next summer when we’re in exactly the same situation with a squad not fit for purpose and probably having to sell to balance the books from this season.

Whatever happens from this point on it’s quite clear that this summer has been poorly planned and executed at pretty much every level. Season expectations are going to have to be readjusted from top half finish to staying away from relegation danger. A complete failure.

Id never mentioned him.

However a strange one was this chap

I was just checking the right backs capped by Morocco and happened upon him and thought he looked quite decent.

Around a week later he was linked to us or a premier league side.

I thought to myself;

A: He'll be very cheap at the end of the window

B: I wonder if Everton have been doing a deal with Espanyol for several months

Because thats what ive been told in this thread.
Hopefully looks decent and want us to be looking around hopefully get more value if outside the prem. would love if we can get a rb in this window and let patterson go

The speed of our transfer activity given our paper thin squad, injuries and lack of quality amounts to gross negligence at the moment on behalf of the recruitment team. If there are no miracles pulled out in the coming days then a review has to take place in September in which jobs need to be on the line. This is absolutely pathetic given Everton’s need for both quality and numbers. More inaction could spell real trouble for us this season.

Good luck getting in contact with our owners
