Confirmed Signing Tom King

Imagine you're mulling over an offer from a club. Considering whether it's worth uprooting your family, moving your kids to new schools, your Mrs away from her family, just to be third choice. Your agent says it's a good deal, the manager of the club has sold you "the project."

You try to get a feel for the club who are interested so you Google "Everton forums" and find yourself here, being disregarded and ridiculed before you've even pulled on an Everton training kit.

The People's Club.
If a professional football player reckons it's a good idea to read fans' forums in order to make a decision about his future, he must be extraordinarily dumb.

So this has been in the pipeline for about a month sorting contracts out. If a third choice GK with minimal fees involved takes that long then can only imagine how long other deals take with higher profile signings. Or maybe we're just Procrastination FC ?

"Guys, our right side is looking a bit weak? Maybe we should look at getting a winger and full-back?"
"Hang on though, what if our main keeper, back-up keeper, and under-21 keepers all get injured?"
"Good point. That is why we are the elite transfer team. Always thinking outside the box. Get a third choice in now, but make sure they are right footed - they can then be back-up for Coleman too".
