NUFC aka The Horse Punchers

Cos they're hamstrung by the PSR. Unless im wrong, isnt the Isak thing down to wages? Newcastle can't offer him £200k a week. So he's leaving to go to a club that will or a bigger name one.

All their transfer targets have gone to Real, Chelsea, United, RS, City, Spurs.

They're punching but don't have a way to throw silly money to complete a deal.
My thoughts are if the Saudis were really that interested in backing them, they would find a way, just like City have.

City was pre-PSR and they already did their dirty deals then, which is why they're facing 115 charges (from which nothing will ever happen obviously).

That door is closed.

Doors have been shut but Chelsea seem to find ways so if they REALLY REALLY wanted to push it or even gamble like the Forest owner did, they could've.

I mean, spend the money, lawyer up, and take a 4 point hit.

Stavely said he'd get a new deal on improved wages, this was known at the club.

She then left.

His agent then went back to the club and asked for the new contract offer.

Their new DOF said 12months ago that he had a long contract and there wouldnt be any new contract.

In addition to this, their PSR level was very high and they sold players to cover it so any new contract was unlikely.

The DOF is now no longer at the club.

Still no extension for Isak

= Isak wants to leave.

So PSR playing a factor (as well as others)

End of the road for him and the club, one would suspect.

He was expecting them to have new state of the art training facilities by now as well.

All seems pretty odd. Feels like theres been a change in plans last few months.

There's a few whispers that they're actually focussed on turning one of the Saudi teams into a real force and aren't arsed about Newcastle.
They've already bought FIFA, created a new club World Cup, and bought the actual World Cup for 2034. Newcastle are now expendable.

If things do now go belly-up for Eddie Howe, we should be keeping our options open there for when the Moyesiah gets the bullet after the inevitable slow start or he has enough of being left down by the recruitment team - whichever comes first.

PIF appointed architects Populous (the same people who designed Real Madrid's training complex) earlier this year to design a training complex for them. Rubeun Brothers are locating a site, PIF approved £200M budget for it in April.
