I’ve watched Usyk since his amateur days, and I didn’t think he could either! I was at the bellew fight myself and to be able to say I’ve seen the man perform live is something.

He’s gotta go down as one of the greatest boxers from any era. What he’s done in the amateur game, cruiser division and now heavyweight. It’s remarkable. Once in a lifetime fighter

Usyk just an absolute animal. He’s miles clear ahead of everyone in the division. Fury gave him problems in the first simply due to style and size - but he works it all out and ends out a clear winner. Think fury is the only one who could pull out a winning performance against him - but it feels a 10/20% chance.

Nothing left for him to do - 3x undisputed, plenty of money in the back - hope he sails into the sunset but I bet it’s hard to walk away from easy money.

That lead hand from Usyk is a work of art. It’s mad to think that out of all the Brit’s to give him the most trouble. It was Chisora.

Think a lot of that was down to the Covid era as well - felt like there was some mad performances and results during that period. No crowds/sparring difficulties etc.

Oleksandr Usyk lists Derek Chisora, Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker as potential opponents for his next fight

There really is nothing to look forward to in heavyweight boxing. Where are all the fighters from the rest of the world ? Feels like the rest of the division is just Brits and Parker. Same old fights over and over.

MMA heavyweight division is absolutely suckage as well in terms of interesting matchups to make, probably even worse.

Do you ? I think by now everyone gets how good he is , he’s also not far off being as popular as any overseas we’ve ever seen over here .

In almost every fight he's had, the press have talked him down. Even after he beat Dubois last fight with a jab, the discussion tonight was all about how Dubois was a different fighter now and could he do it this time round.

Every fight Usyk has the newspapers/talking heads talk about how he overcomes against the bigger man and how he will need to adjust.

It's rare to hear the emphasis on Usyk being great. It's beginning to change but it's taken a while to get there.
