We'll have to be patient with them.
It's not going to change as fast as we want.
But ffs sort out the set pieces.
It should be the first/easiest thing to improve.
Dead balls are catastrophic.
 

I stopped giving any cares at all to friendlies a long time ago. On Joe Parkinson’s testimonial, a certain new signing on the right wing was unplayable, against a pretty much first choice man city. He scored 2 and looked like the seeing coming of Kanchelskis.

After that season, seeing the same Niclas Alexandersson fall over his own feet and get dropped, i realised pre season friendlies are faker that wwe.

What a day that was though. Loudest cheer ever for pieman :)

Players who caught the eye in pre-season but went on to be underwhelming would make for an interesting topic. I was eager to see more of Jesper Lindstrøm last season after he scored a free-kick in the pre-season friendly victory against Preston North End, yet he only contributed a single assist (versus Wolves) after that game.

Yeah it would, but it might be a bit of a sad list!

Jesper was absolutely another one right up there. Thought he was going to kick in under Moyes, but nope!

Not sure you beat Luke Garbutt for fake promise to be fair. Remember watching him warming up pinging cross after cross in…

Not panicking yet, 4 weeks till we kick off against Leeds and I think we need a RW, CM as a matter of urgency and probably a RB and LB.

This squad is way too thin as it stands, but this is the squad flying out to the US early next week and I can`t see anyone coming in till after we`ve played in that... are we going to sacrifice August results as we wait for players and prices to change?
