Favourite 3 and worst 3 transfers you can remember.

Hmm, favourite three?

Lineker, Beardsley, and Cahill - because they were among the most effective we ever made.

Most exciting transfers? I was thrilled we bought Kanchelskis and James Rodriguez. I was in my late 40s when we signed the sexy Colombian and there I was, like a teenage girl, thrilling to the sight of him around Liverpool the night before he signed. Swoon. I like to put it down to my eye for a top footballing talent, but I suspect it is, likely, a troubling case of latent homosexuality.

Other than that, I was very pleased we signed Tony Cottee back in the day. Was I wrong? Well, he was part of a decline, obviously, but he did net 99 times. Massively underrated as a finisher probably because of the end-of-era team he played in.

….not sure I’d even consider the likes of Kanchelskis and Lineker given the very brief time they were here. If we are considering short-term, I’d have Andy Gray as a better transfer than either.
I put down different, but I recall him signing and playing, I was starstruck, we (the lads I stood with)just had a feeling he was special.
Mentioning he alwaus wins stuff etc.
Him and Reid changed the course of club.
Wasn't really excited about Reid ,if I'm honest, started out wide iirc...but the manager knew different.

Ferguson - was a big fan of his since he first broke through at Dundee Utd

James - genuine world class player, plus I was at the Maracana when he scored that goal

Moise Kean - His credentials when we signed him suggested he could go on to be an all time great, and signing him against Juve's wishes was a sign we were about to mix it with the big boys. Obviously didn't work out that way though
