Sad to see the decline of his career. Came to us as a youngster and looked like he was gonna be a very good Premier League player - I don't recall many people complaining when he was awarded the £70k a week contract, because at the time his form and potential warranted tying him down to a long term deal but the drop-off was massive. He couldn't even turn it around by dropping a division and working his way back up.
The best of luck to him over there, it's sad he had an end to his career with us which meant he left without even a goodbye to the fans.

He should have been there for the final lap at Goodison but I guess at that time as he was still contracted to us on £72000 per week he fell between the school of the current squad and the Legends.

Played in short bursts, had ability but something was missing and it stopped him being able to replicate his best on a regular basis. However, as with all our former players who aren’t going to come back and haunt us I wish him well.
Walked out onto the Hawthorns last season probably thinking "here's another chance to prove myself, these fans love me so all will be good". Unfortunately within a couple of games the mistakes had began and we lost a few points because of him, fans never forgave him as it could have resulted in a play off place.
