Well my work mate actually loves Moyes and didn't agree with West Ham getting rid of him so not all West Ham fans thought like that. As for Soucek he's decent but to me he's a stop gap filler at best and another 'worker' in midfield where we're crying out for creativity and someone who can unlock defences

I thought he was just ok from what I had seen and was underwhelmed when he signed , he’s turning out to be a good player for us, I love his goal against City away especially, the quick thinking to finish like that, great stuff.

I want to see more of that in the team, tired of cumbersome players

That’s what Alvarez and Ndiaye are for. Make chances for Soucek and he will score.

You are basically getting a Premier League and European quality defensive midfielder with a Tim Cahill-esque ability for scoring goals.

I’m sure there was still a gulf between the old First Division and the lower leagues but it seemed like a more level playing field in the top flight in those days. At the very least make the CL for league winners only - of course we’re too far gone for that now.
