Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I speak for the clinically pedantic amongst the fanbase when I say that strictly speaking it is happy Wodens day. The weekday of Wednesday (Woden's day) is named for him. Woden was later changed to Odin, so basically you’ve just said “ Hi Thor’s dad”!

See, this is why I can’t get a bird to sleep with mr :(
It’s better if she doesn’t sleep
Just do what you have to do and send her home

Ian Herbert (the Daily Fail) says Moyes is not interested in Luiz. The Fail is generally tragic/axe-grinding on us but Ian is ex Post/Echo (wrote a famous Paisley biography) and knows Moyes well so maybe this is valid.

Is anyone a bit worried if we end up with Douglas Luiz? He pretty much flopped in the easier Italian league, and he's a bit of a walking sick note. He's been there one season and they want rid.
I thought he was really good at Villa and wasn't injured much when he was there. Seems like he's had a few problems at Juventus though so will be interesting to see if that's a start of a trend or just not suiting it. I have read and heard many people speaking before about how intense the Italians are in terms of training and discipline so maybe that's had an impact.

Ability wise I think it's a no brainer.

Hasn’t he claimed the injuries were down to juve’s medical staff ?

up till recently I would have been keen
But his missus sacked him off so she won’t be signing for us
Therefore it’s a no from me

No. he blames their medical team, if he hadn’t been mishandled we’d not have a hope in hell of getting him.

Got 10 goals and 10 asssits in his last year at Villa, for context 120k a week doucoure got 4 goals and 2 assists in his last 50 games playing behind the striker. And some of our fans thought he was a great player. The same fans have a wank fest when McNeil smashes one in from 25yrds even though he averages about 3 goals a season

There’s a reason he ended up at juve
