I speak for the clinically pedantic amongst the fanbase when I say that strictly speaking it is happy Wodens day. The weekday of Wednesday (Woden's day) is named for him. Woden was later changed to Odin, so basically you’ve just said “ Hi Thor’s dad”!

Today is going to be a good day…. I feel it….. Romano/Bobble/africafoot to announce that our star CM and Right sided players will be travelling for a medical soon to complete their move to Merseyside.

Last night was an ok performance and expected for our first game. Desperately need someone comfortable on the ball in the middle who can easily change direction of play and get us moving in the right direction. Young lad on the right looks quick and generally changed our play in the last part of the game. Be good to get someone like that in asap.

Then clear last night that RB remains a troubled position especially if JOB ends up Center half.

Anytime i watched him last season i thought he struggled with the physicality of the PL.

They did something similar with Carvahlo last year and it hasnt caught fire yet.

As i was saying in another thread Brentford have a small margin of error on their decisions.

Watched Hutchison for the 21s and he played on the left? Probably why we are not in for him?

Reminds me of Theo Walcott in some ways - very fast, but lacks a football brain. I'd been pretty disappointed to see us linked with him.

I was about to say that the fact it's Brentford who are interested makes me question my own judgement, but the Carvalho thing is a good point
