I think it's going to take a couple of seasons to change how people view the club.

The Tete situation definitely highlighted this

I feel what happened with Tete was a different scenario, as he was firmly settled in London with his family in the later stages of his career. It would be different if he was in his early 20s and then we failed in convincing him to join us , when his contract lapsed.

Tbh i dont remember anyone saying he was awful. Remember lots of people backing him to play and develop because it was obvious he had fantastic talent.

Problem was he was a moody entitled prick.

All he had to do was can the attitue, get his head down, work hard and he'd develop. But he seemed to get a cob on if he wasnt treated like he was messi.

Seemed to of clicked at atalanta and now were seeing how good he can be but its down to him as a player why its took this long to click imo.

I think that penalty miss for Fulham was the making of him to be honest, he seemed to really kick on after that, but my point is maybe we right players off to early
