I feel what happened with Tete was a different scenario, as he was firmly settled in London with his family in the later stages of his career. It would be different if he was in his early 20s and then we failed in convincing him to join us , when his contract lapsed.I think it's going to take a couple of seasons to change how people view the club.
The Tete situation definitely highlighted this
Crazy price that.
Although I’ve just seen that Chelsea want £100m for Jackson![]()
With jokes like this you'll be an Outcast.Sorry, Nic Jackson. That price is unreal.
I literally struggle to not sing that, nigh impossible to simply read!Sorry, Nic Jackson. That price is unreal.

Of course we are, it’s the GOT Summer Transfer thread. Come on pal, get with the zeitgeistSo we’re taken it as a given they actually want him based on a report without quotes etc? Barcelona probably get linked with even more players than we do, and we know how accurate a lot of the reports about us are.
Let’s see where he ends up but I’d be surprised if it’s at Barcelona
Isn’t that just saying he is not for sale ?Crazy price that.

You’d think so.
Or maybe they think Arsenal might lose the plot and bid for him?
I can't, he nearly scored in extra timeForget Gaza, Ukraine, Iran etc. This is what would really bring a war to London.
I think that penalty miss for Fulham was the making of him to be honest, he seemed to really kick on after that, but my point is maybe we right players off to earlyTbh i dont remember anyone saying he was awful. Remember lots of people backing him to play and develop because it was obvious he had fantastic talent.
Problem was he was a moody entitled prick.
All he had to do was can the attitue, get his head down, work hard and he'd develop. But he seemed to get a cob on if he wasnt treated like he was messi.
Seemed to of clicked at atalanta and now were seeing how good he can be but its down to him as a player why its took this long to click imo.
Paddy Boyland put in an article it was that figure and West Brom needed the money at that timeWe are not sure of course that was the price and West Brom were happy to sell. Besides we had Lindstrom and Harrison under contract
Ten Hag is a great reason why he'd join us ahead of Leverkusen.20m is a reasonable fee but no chance he’ll join us ahead of Leverkusen.
