Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The waxing or the bun?
Think Brentford and Fofest could be in the mix next year. ;)
Said the other day I thought Brentfurd were spent in 23/24 but came back stronger last year. Without Frank they could be vulnerable I agree.

What is it about Forest do you think ?

Losing Elanga I imagine will affect them. Not much noise regarding Gibbs White. though, who If he left too would be them throwing in the towel a bit. He's at a good club. But like James Maddison before him, the kind of player that needs to make at least one more step up.maybe? .Maddison due to injuries and Spurs issues hasn't kicked on totally but has a Cup success now at least,so still probably a fair comparison he's had a little more success by moving on.

I know nothing of this Hackney, but ive asked a mate who supports Boro, and he says he's 'ok' his work rate is good, but not too sure if prem level yet.

Anyone else watch him regularly?
Not watched him regularly been seen him a few times in the champ last season.

Think he’s a decent player who might make it to the PL, but nowt really special in my eyes. You never know of course, but I’d be utterly surprised if he established himself in a top half PL side in the future.

A few things at Forest mate. The situation is volition there with the owner, it will be fine if the standard is maintained but if there is difficulty, he will flip 100%.

They were very well coached last year, but they have one trick and teams worked that trick out in the last 3rd of the season.

I feel like a lot of their players played above their mean last season, it’s interesting none have had any interest beyond Elanga. They also got very lucky with injuries.

I feel with a European campaign they could be stretched as well with second season syndrome.

The two seasons before without a wildly different squad they were almost relegated.

hopefully mcatee is the next target we secure
I know we shouldn't hype the younger players. But I am going to anyway

Different positions but I would equate such a signing on a par with the significance of getting Baines who took his side of the pitch to the next level for us , if it came off of course. He will flourush in a side where he is not just expected to feature as a cameo.
