Eh? How can this board be doing the same sort of thing as the last board because they’ve just come together? I don’t understand your question?
I’m including the board so I can highlight that the whole club has recently changed. The question still stands, what same sort of things are the club doing?

I still don’t understand what you’re asking me? I know the board has changed, that was the point being made, that they’re doing the same sort of thing as the last board. I’ve explained what I was talking about in numerous other posts, you need to read it in context really.

This is tough! You said the MO hasn’t changed, but to my mind it’s obvious straight away that the club is behaving differently. More structured, more strategic, more collegiate? Maybe you can’t really explain the MO piece?🤷🏽‍♂️

Like I said, there’s context to it which you seem to be reading it without. The context was somebody saying we were previously too nice to try to take advantage of loopholes, I was saying we clearly weren’t because we had very much tried to take advantage of the sponsorship loophole by agreeing comically inflated sponsorship deals with companies our owner was heavily linked to. There is no wider comment on the ownership, just pointing out that the original suggestion doesn’t really stack up.

Cheers mate👍 Would that be the same for customers there too? Probably no charge if they buy something there. Awkward to police i bet.
Am not sure on whether it's for paying customers as well, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was.

Everyone round there will looking monetise off the back of the ground.

I worked in Beers sales office over the road for a while and as soon as the ground was announced Mr Beer flattened the land at back for match days...everyone will be at it.

Even with the sale of the women’s team and GP I don’t think we’ll see a huge net spend. Don’t get me wrong £100m is a lot more than we’re used to in recent years, but I think the hope was that we might go for real quality and spend an extra £50-£100m on top of that.

I think they’ll see this additional revenue as money towards the reported £100m we’re looking to spend, which would make it increasingly sustainable for future years.

We’ll see

Did anyone actually think there was a realistic chance of us spending £200m this summer?

Yeah, I think your last paragraph sums it up.

We won’t know what we’ve got to spend until the window closes.
