What is Keane’s’ deal —— have you heard?Keane has cost us virtually nothing to keep on, Harrison will cost us a lot more
Because misery loves company. Why is this thread still active?
I don't wanna be around if when he comes backBecause misery loves company.
It beggars belief tbh, I was hoping it was nonsense, but the Keane re-signing makes me think it’s a goer.Unbelievable if the people now responsible for player recruitment can’t find better elsewhere
(If true obviously)
If anyone hasn’t read the article that triggered this btw, was just a throwaway line in a lengthy piece in the Telegraph by Chris Bascombe.
Something like ‘Jack Harrison has left the club, but there is a possibility he may return’
Which I guess there is, but he didn’t sound like he’d heard we are persuing a deal.
It doesn’t need padding out with dross mate, I’d sooner play or have on the bench a couple of the kids, than Harrison and Keane.Yeah, he’s not great, but the bigger picture is the squad needs padding out. At the very least, he puts a massive shift in every time he plays. I don’t think he was that bad towards the end of last season.
The Everton fan part of me agrees but the forum member part of me is 100% behind this. Box office stuff.Yeah to be fair I think Harrison very much became an escaped goat and is nowhere near as bad as a player as some people make him out to be, but he certainly isn't very good and even as a squad player it would be disappointing if they can't find better value elsewhere.
