That bit totally took me out if it. Objectively ridiculous.

I thought Ralph Fiennes was very good, just enough to make him seem hugely significant without destroying any of his aura.

I really liked the ending, I think they'll go very dark in the next one.

I’m thinking that too.

From what I’ve read, Jack O’Connell as Jimmy Crystal and his Flying Jimmies play a significant part in the next one and from the little glimpse you get of the upside down cross hanging from his chest, I’m thinking it’s going to be dark too.

I felt sorry for Raiph Fiennes, as he did his best with a rotten script.

I thought ATJ was really good. The lad did a great job of transforming from scared kid with an overbearing dad, to a 'man' after his interaction with the gentler, more empathetic Kelson. RF was brilliant at his bit and set against the loud, brash ATJ

There is a definitely a "how does religion, culture, masculinity, class" impact on your development.

Jodie comers whole character and storyline felt like an afterthought.

Just rewatched 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later in prep for 28 Years Later. My thoughts

28 Days was a benchmark achievement at the time. Interesting synopsis. As with these types of zombie type flicks you need to suspend some disbelief from time to time, and this one stayed within the realm of believable except for the actions of the military at the house. You're fighting for civilization here, I don't understand laying it all on the line for some nooky mere hours after the women arrive. But OK. Good film

28 Weeks had some concepts of the good film. But the utter lack of protection/security when they bring the mom back from outside the safe zone is beyond belief and really mars the film. Gotta find another way for the virus to take off again. I mean she was literally quarantined in a hospital bed, those in charge are doing research, and they just let Robert Carlyle waltz in there? Rubbish

Hopefully 28 Years gets back to the believability of 28 Days
They kill a massive jelly baby in the woods if that type of thing is believable

I mean it's Ana De Armas in a John Wick world with lots of guns and stuff in typically great choreographed fighting scenes.

I'd subscribe to an Ana De Armas YouTube channel discussing the finest road signs in Eastern Europe so maybe I'm not the most honest judge but 8 awkward reloads out of 10.

28 Years Later I liked. The end was a bit daft but OK.

I will see Jurassic but I dont see what they can really do here, rinse and repeat.

Hope to see F1 tomorrow.

Seven Psychopaths.
I liked it, thought Rockwell and Harrelson were brilliant.

Interesting that Mickey Rourke was initially cast as Harrelson's character. Not sure he could have done as good a job.

Love Seven Psychopaths, much the same as any Martin McDonagh movie who is pretty much peerless now for dialogue in moves seeing as Tarantino has disappeared. Sam Rockwell is brilliant as always, also really enjoyed the road scene with Christopher Walken.

Coen Brothers maybe get me as excited about an upcoming release these days though that's as much for their musical integration as the dialogue...

I’ll get round to watching this, purely because I’ve seen all the others so I have to complete the franchise so to speak.

Can’t remember which one it was, but after the women befriended the T-Rex to attack the dinosaur that could camouflage itself, I knew it was over.
I can’t remember that one. Are you thinking of when Chris Pratt’s character befriends the velociraptors? It’s all become so convoluted now it’s difficult to remember
