Is the Canopy for the ones who’ve paid a fortune for the tunnel club thing - no one else gets that view.
The canopy seems necessary elsewise.
I am just so angry right now. Seeing that tunnel has put me in a proper rage, there I was going around with so much expectation of a gold plated state of the art tunnel, maybe with jewels all around the structure. An award winning tunnel. Is that too much to ask for Everton?
They are also installing some pillars, apparently people are upset about the lack of obstructed views.

The moaning is comedy, at times, but I'm pleased much of the fanbase is moaning: they're fed up with the snake oil that has been fed to them for 30 years. Many of the complaints are simply symptoms of frustration and low standards. People are impatient. I see it as pent-up energy that can be harnessed positive by these new owners when they get things right. What is going to be the popular moan about the badges, once they are finished? I really have no idea?
Mainly because it came up on my feed yesterday and one of the comments went along the lines of 'Why are they doing this now, go out and sign players instead of this'. Can this be beaten? I believe this is the height of moaning and we should all aspire to reach such levels of moaning. Moaning about some guys putting up a badge on the side of the stadium and thinking they would also be part of the recruitment team and this job is taking them away from the important role of scouting and signing players.
Honestly, I wish it was something as minor and easily fixed that irked me about the new ground. While it needn't be award winning, it's emblematic of how we operate. An item that is front and centre of our stadium and they put in zero effort. All it would have taken is:

- Get the colour to match the seats
- Have one specifically designed to fit the space. Look how far away from the edges it is:
Man City's training stadium has a better tunnel:
- Have it run on a track so it doesn't come out on the wonk - again it helps if you have one designed for that space so these would be tucked up against the walls.
- Get rid of the branding on the top. if you are going to add something, it has to be done well.

Never mind their proper stadium. If you want something written on it, have a proper board like they have:

Could have gone just non-descript with a bit more quality and it would be fine:

Ours just manages to look like a cheap hotel that is trying to be posh, but without the skills or money to do it properly.
In the end it's a small thing, it just winds me up how we build something that is in the top 10 and then finish it with lower league standards.
I agree, mostly. You're right about the pent-up expectations, and it's good that we as fans still have these high expectations. The moaning is comedy, at times, but I'm pleased much of the fanbase is moaning: they're fed up with the snake oil that has been fed to them for 30 years.
