That's a good point actually mate, Chelsea sold theirs to another holding company of theirs, Villa seem to be doing the same albeit selling 10% to outside investors.

But completely agree..... from 1st July let's sell the ground and the womens team creating hopefully a massive PSR jump for us for this next year!

Sell the team this year, then sell them the ground in 3 years, doubling the period in which our PSR has a boost.

Charge them £2m per year to use our training facilities and rent out Goodison at £2m per year prior to sale.

Also seems that they/we won’t be able to exclude the women’s team costs under the Squad Coat Ratio too if we sell them, so it is just a one off win, slightly to the clubs detriment going forward. Can see why Chelsea’s was worth doing given they managed to value their women’s team at a gazillion pounds. Still the right time for us to do it for a smaller win, given the rebuild required and availability of cash. Would remove almost all thoughts of PSR until it is abolished and replaced by SCR.

In all honestly TFG have to find a way to get funds into the club for transfers and at the same time create PSR headroom this looks like the way.

It`ll be interesting to see how these women`s teams do as separate businesses. There have been so much talk of how women should have the same opportunities as men in football so with men and women teams being run as separate entities it will be good to see if the women`s team have been kept ticking over only due to being funded by the revenue the men`s team have been bringing in.
