Glastonbury 2025

As someone who considers himself a big fan of any and all sorts of music, a veteran of 11 Glastos attended and various other festivals and hundreds of gigs over the years, plus watching when I'm not there, I'm genuinely very very impressed by that set by Olivia Rodrigo.

Absolutely flawless from start to finish, crowd eating out of her hand from the first note and completely immersed in the show, singing every word to every song, no packing, no fillers, just massive songs.
All live, all with her band.

That was outstanding.
Up there with the best I've watched at Glasto, ever.
Genuinely class.
👏👏👏👏👏
Take a bow kid 👌🎶

Come at me... 🤷‍♂️
If you get the chance mate try and catch Chappel Roan's headline set from Primavera Barcelona a few weeks ago. There's a high quality official video on YouTube.

Chappel is besties with Olivia (they share the same producer/Co writer) and blew up last year after she opened on the GUTs tour in the US. Reportedly the biggest Primavera crowd ever but the show was different level.

Love Glastonbury and I'm lucky enough to have been to 7 myself over the years.

Didn't get to see too many acts this weekend as I was busy, but it looked a cracker. Hope anyone returning home to Liverpool has a restful couple of days!

From the bits and pieces I've seen I thought Wolf Alice and Olivia were real highlights. Prodigy was obviously unbelievable to.

I missed the serchers last ever concert plus the other crap the showed at Glastonbury
Were they legally obliged to show you The Searchers' set? The Bob Vylan stuff is quite a significant oversight, but it won't be the Head of Entertainment who cops for that.

Can't believe that Glastonbury has been cancelled next year because of this. I mean FFS. BROKEN BRITAIN.

I think it is to allow the turf to recover?

Glastonbury Festival will take a hiatus in 2026, with the event taking one every five years to avoid causing irreparable damage to the working pastures of Worthy Farm. Co-organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed to the BBC the festival was 'due a fallow year'.4 hours ago

They have a break every so often to allow both the soil to recover and to give the locals a break

Looks like old Rod & Penny need one too after his exertions

Was it worth it for bob vylan? US visa binned. Binned by their management team and agents and now a criminal investigation

Yeah, he’s an independent artist so will continue to have a career and will have gained a lot more followers after a very good Glastonbury set.

What’s happened to him is a complete over reaction and he will have just cause to fight it all if he wishes.
