TV Series

Just started For All Mankind.

As much as it’s very obviously well made, after two episodes, it’s not doing anything for me.

Is it worth sticking with it, seeing as it’s four series and forty episodes long ?
Yeah it’s not bad and I think it gets better as the story / space race develops and you become accustomed to the characters, I came to it late and have seen all seasons now. It’s not up there with the best tv but passable all the same.

Yeah I’d read articles comparing its general concept of misfits to that of sleeping horses but I thought it was overrated and not a patch on sleeping horses.
I think there’s so much trash about that anything ok in this genre gets better ratings. I liked the bits with Edinburgh bars and streets. Dunno why Kelly McDonald was shoehorned in there and the bits with her and the lead were horrific.
Would have preferred it if it was 3 or 4 episodes.

Yeah agree re the location, only been a couple of times but absolutely love Edinburgh and the Kelly Mcadonald scenes early doors were ok, but near the end it was a bit weird.

I gave up after a couple of episodes too. Once i start falling asleep watching a show its the end of it for me. Too slow and boring.
